Join many of the nation’s leaders in the fields of green buildings, green energy, and  green products and production in Albany on December 6th – 7th for Healthy Environment, Healthy Economy A Symposium on Building a Safe and Sustainable Future for New York State. The conference will take place at the Legislative Office Building , State and Swan Sts., Albany .This symposium will bring together businesses, labor representatives, environmentalists, government, and academia to discuss the potential for simultaneously improving environmental responsibility and economic development in New York State . This day and a half conference will feature tracks on Green Building and Siting, Green Energy, and Green Design and Production.

Key speakers include: Ken Geiser of the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production and Toxic Use Reduction Institute of Massachusetts; Roger Saillant, President and CEO, Plug Power; Eric Corey Freed, organicARCHITECT recently seen on “Building Green” series on PBS; Eric Friedman, Director of State Sustainability, MA Executive Office of Environmental Affairs; Clare Lindsay, Project Director, EPA Extended Product Responsibility; Neil Murphy, President, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry; and Roger Slotkin, CEO, Odyne Corporation.


The conference is designed to be interactive.
