Monday: Lots of stuff happening. Police in Oakland cleared out camp and made arrests.

Plan for Oakland on Monday. As announced at Occupy Oakland:

“The plan now is to reconverge at the Oakland Main Public Library at 14th Street and Madison at 4pm”

[That is 7pm EST, for folks in NY who wish to observe and offer phone support]

There are updates and some lists of phone numbers to call at the Live Stream. Reports that the following occupy camps have been attacked by police in the last 24 hours: Denver, Portland, Austin, Texas, Oakland

Lines of Riot Police in Oakland. On Live Stream, I saw people trying to talk Riot Police into quitting and joining the 99%. It was amusing.

Oakland story at Reuters: here.

Update: As of 7:53 EST/NY time – local news reports at least 100 people gathered at library. Live Blogging at Mercury News: here.

Please consider calling the Oakland Police at 510-777-3333 and ask them to leave the Occupy Oakland protest alone. Demand compassion. Demand Freedom of Assembly.
